All the cranes of the world share a similar shape with long graceful necks and a bustle of tail feathers. It is color that distinguishes one species from another. The Standing Crane is in the collections of the President of Singapore, the Prime Minister of Korea, and Emperor Akihito of Japan who has the original wood piece.
